My name is Rudrani Garg, and I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in International Relations at South Asian University. Coming from Northeast India, I have always been fascinated by borders, particularly the intricate relationship between borderlands and their communities. My academic interests include non-Western perspectives on International Relations and non-traditional security issues, especially in the context of borders. I am particularly passionate about exploring the Northeastern borders of India and challenging the traditional Westphalian concept of borders by integrating the voices and experiences of local communities into the discourse.
