I am Vipra Arora. I am currently at the end of my first year of BA Global Affairs at OP Jindal Global University. I am from Chandigarh and I am 24 years old. I realise that the first question that comes to mind is why so late. After 12th, I was pursuing Chartered Accountancy, a field i was really looking forward to. But during covid years as we spent more time at home than outside, I started getting into IR related discussions, majorly regarding geopolitics. My interest shifted and I realised I had a greater interest here, so much that these discussions had become a way to relax from my then main subjects. So here I am, with a deep interest in geopolitics, security studies and analysing historical contexts in relation to present day politics. Other than that, I love painting and reading books. Fantasy with a good dose of war, strategy and politics like wheel of time series, and blood and ash series happen to be some of my favourites. I am looking forward to my time as an intern with your organisation.
